The Story Behind the Texas Miracle
“The Texas Miracle” was coined to describe the extraordinary economic growth and resilience that has made Texas the most dynamic state economy in the nation. Over the past two decades, Texas has consistently ranked #1 in the United States for business climate, capital investment, and job creation, with Site Selection magazine naming Texas the Top State for Business year after year. This recognition from Site Selection—the nation’s leading publication for corporate real estate, expansion, and economic development—acknowledges what economists, CEOs, and policy leaders have long understood: Texas is the beating heart of the American economy.
The Texas Miracle is not an accident—it is the result of sound governance, infrastructure investment, world-class universities, an entrepreneurial spirit, and a uniquely Texan belief in freedom, faith, and opportunity.
